How It Started

The content for the How Mad I Am! Read- and Draw-Along book was created over multiple encounters with our youngster who found it frustrating to communicate effectively with words. He had resorted to biting and tantrums to get what he needed (and wanted).

We found that having him draw how he felt helped him become aware of his emotions and how to express them positively.

This method of soothing and communication significantly eased his frustration, reduced household tension and strengthened relationships : both parent-child and parent-parent.
